The brief for this project evolved out of extensive community consultation with the young people for whom it is designed. Following from this process the scheme transformed a derelict wasteland into an oasis, acting as a catalyst for community pride and integration. It offers a wide range of activities such as adventure play, climbing, toddlers play, skateboarding, basketball and football.

There is a wonderful view from the roof of the building over London to the Millennium wheel and beyond and a splendid slide back to ground level.
